Louise Sutherland Photography is proud to support The Royal Marsden Cancer Campaign. The Royal Marsden is committed to promoting excellence in cancer research, treatment and education. It is Europe's largest cancer centre, with 40,000 patients from across the UK and abroad seen at the hospital every year.
Founded in 1851 by Dr William Marsden, with a second site opening in Sutton, Surrey in 1963 the Royal Marsden was the first hospital in the world to be dedicated to cancer. It has become a leader in its field, with a worldwide reputation for innovation and the development of new anti-cancer drugs.
For every A-Year-in-the-Life package purchased I will donate £10 to the campaign and for every Wedding Package purchased I will donate £25.
On Sunday 27th March 2011 my husband & I joined nearly 2,000 people taking part in the Marsden March, a 14 mile walk between the hospital's Chelsea site in central London and it's Sutton branch in Surrey, to raise much-needed funds for the Royal Marsden Cancer Campaign.
Here is a short video of some of the images we took on what was a very inspirational day which has so far raised over £300,000 for this very worthwhile cause.
If you would like to add your support please visit my Just Giving page which will remain open until 24th June 2011.
